Just something to keep in mind:

If you are using a Hotmail address; it will most likely take UP to 24 hours for the eMail to reach you. :/ For some reason lately, this has been the case for me.

To stay on topic :

In addition to what LordRiccardo said; you can also contact IMVU via phone (for billing only) : I'm not sure where this will take you; but this MAY take you to the article I was looking at with the phone number you can reach about billing issues.

EDIT : I just tested out the link. It took me to the Help Page. Well, what I did was to type in 'billing', and clicked on 'Search." The first link that comes up (the article) has the phone number, so click on that one, and read down. Hope that helps.

Just remember that the phone number is used ONLY for billing purposes, not for anything else.

One other thing that might help is make sure that if you're using a reseller, that it's one allowed by IMVU. I got disabled 2 years ago for using a bad one, but we sorted it out, I switched resellers & have been using it for the last 2 years. CS was actually very helpful & my account was down only a couple of days. If you have PayPal, I highly suggest using it, especially instead of by telephone, as some have already mentioned. All it takes is someone like AT & T to say they won't pay IMVU & then you're stuck.

well the biggest major things that I know of, that get accounts disabled (or suspended for 3000 days), would be if IMVU suspected that a minor had an incorrect age, worse still, if they suspect that an account showing an over 18 age is actually owned by a minor, or if an account showing an age under 18 was suspected to actually be an adult. In those cases IMVU will suspend the account until the owner provides proof of age.

Another cause is if they suspect credit card misuse.

Have you read IMVU's TOS? That is the place to start if you want to check whether you may have broken any rules.

Ultimately, only IMVU can tell you exactly why.


WoW I just looked over the TOS after reading your post and That is some tough reading. I have a collage education but it is one long, legal jargon filled sentence after another. I'll have my lawyers look at it in the morning. LOL Who do they think is using this site? I read it and re-read it but I still don't know if I have broken any of the TOS.

EpicBunneh is still disabled.
I've complained to VitaminCi, like. 500 times.
And filing help tickets ain't even doing anything.

IMVU's freakin' ripped me off.
Can one of you look into this for me? At least try and help? :'(

The more help tickets you file, the longer it takes, because each ticket is seen by someone new who doesn't know that you have made others.
Please send me the ticket numbers and I will escalate with staff to see if they can get this sorted out.

AuntiePjl, they closed my second help ticket, so obviously they can't be asked with me anymore.

I'll send you both the numbers, whereas one of them has already been solved. They told me why I had been disabled.
The second help ticket was saying, why isn't VitaminCi's website replying to me. And I was getting distressed over it. So. Yeah. On the second reply, they just said 'Blah blah blah, email VitaminCi. I won't try again because they won't even bloody answer me! T_T I HAVENT MADE NO DAYUM PAYMENT.
Just, tell them this. And tell em im angry. :/

my other account said disabled for 7 more days why i tryed to log in... its been 7 days ... now its says 0 more days ... will i be able to log on tomorrow .. and will my profile and everything will be back as normal ???? Shocked

Same happened to me. My account (DolceShia) has been permanently disabled due its association with a ring of users creating content deemed unsuitable for IMVU.
I didn't do anything wrong. I'm not a creator nor a dev and i don't have an Access Pass. How could i create unsuitable content?
I have a layouts shop since months and i absolutely don't make layouts that violate TOS or AP content.Shocked
Let's hope we'll get our accounts back as soon as possible. <3
